Darlington
A Darlington transistor is a special type of transistor configuration where two bipolar junction transistors (BJTs) are connected together to provide a very high current gain. In this setup, the emitter of the first transistor is connected to the base of the second, and their collectors are joined. This allows the small current from the first transistor to be amplified again by the second transistor, making the Darlington pair very sensitive to input signals. Darlington transistors are commonly used in applications requiring high current amplification, such as in power amplifiers, motor controllers, and switching circuits.
